I discovered this lovely town in 2003 and it’s always nice to be back
there. It’s a real pearl of Montenegro, with its history and cultural heritage,
written on UNESCO’s
list of world heritage. A legend says that Serbian king was advised to build
this town near the sea, next to the harbor.
It’s impossible to
miss it, if you’re driving on the south. The old city walls and the harbor will
be the first thing which you’ll notice. You should park your car and enter to the
city. You’ll be in paradise, lovely little streets, few churches, fortress and…
cats ! In fact, cats are everywhere. I love this feeling to be surrounded by
them…
Such wonderful, old architecture ... lovely photos, Doronette ...
