Vranjina Monastery, Skadar Lake, Montenegro

Skadar Lake isn’t only a lovely part of the Montenegro, that’s also a place where a big part of the history was written. During my short boat trip, I discovered a little island with Vranjina Monastery. According to Wikipedia, Vranjina Monastery with its church dedicated to Saint Nicholas is one of the oldest monasteries in Montenegro.

In fact, after leaving the boat, you need about 10 minutes to climb on the top of the little mountain. Don’t be amazed to meet some tortoises

and cats (who were offered to the priest).
